The Rundāle Palace ensamble - the most outstanding monument of Baroque and Rococo architecture in Latvia. It was designed by the greatest Italian architect (naturalized Russian) – Francesco Bartolomeo Rastrelli.

The construction of the Rundāle Palace example was organized by Ernst Johann Biron, Duke of Courland and a favourite of the Russian Empress Anna Ioannovna, in the 18th century.
10 ha regular Baroque style garden is located in the South of the Palace and it is the most significant Baroque style French garden in the Baltics.

During the tour you will see:

• The Rundāle Palace – the pearl of Baroque and Rococo architecture in Latvia.
• Premises of the Rundāle Palace – the gold refulgence, the porcelain shine, brightness of colours, incredibly rich interior, antique paintings and furniture.
• The Baroque style garden – reestablished Baroque style French garden, what is the most unique Baroque style garden in the Baltics.
